But, it is not what you might think. We researched the term and found many different meanings for ego. The most compelling definition came not from the most popular one(dealing with self-importance or conceit) or even the psychoanalytic reference. In fact, the scholastic definition found at Random House’s Dictionary.com was the one that most represented our mindset. This definition states that ego is:
· the enduring and conscious element that knows experience. · the complete person comprising both body and soul.
We think being conscious, present and complete is where it’s at. Down to earth is where we want to be. So, we bring forth these little known, rarely used definitions of ego through our design work and through this blog.
Sublime eGo is where we share with you results of our own research on things that matter to us, or things we find interesting, thought provoking or funny. The tips and resources provided for living a "green" life are there if that kind of thing strikes your fancy.
Our hope is that you leave this site with something you didn't have before you got here. Maybe you learned something about the world, about life, about where to find something or even about yourself. Visit often; we add new content frequently.
